Everything you ever wanted to know . . . but were afraid to ask!

So many of you have asked us how best to take care of the Sheaffer’s during their visit to your church or event. For that reason we have created this space. Thank you in advance for your generous hospitality, it is such a blessing to the Sheaffer’s and so greatly appreciated.

Here is a short check list for you as you prepare for their arrival. Attention to these special little details truly helps Jana Leigh and Doug stay fit and keep pace with life on the road ‘for the long haul’:

Finances

Different leaders have asked Jana Leigh what is a good amount to give for a meeting or set of meetings. Jana Leigh has not yet put specific costs in place. However, please keep in mind that it is not only the time that Jana Leigh is with you that it costs her in time; but also the travel and preparation time as well.

Professional Wingwalker, Worshipper, and Nurturing Encourage

A wing walker by profession, Jana Leigh has traveled extensively, performing her daring wing-walking feats for crowds both locally and throughout the U.S. She began her career in early 2004 at the Flying Circus Air show in Bealeton, Virginia, when a friend took her there to see the show. She was captivated as she watched the agile wing walker carefully maneuver himself across the wing of a 450 Stearman biplane.

Her first reaction was, “ How can this be legal?” and then she thought to herself, “I want to do that!” After the show, and out of curiosity, she asked if the Flying Circus was looking for another wing walker. She was told that they were, in fact, looking for a female wing walker, and if she was serious, to follow up with an audition. She was serious!

Jana Leigh passed that audition, and now nearly twenty years later, you can still find her suspended from the wing of an airplane high above the ground. Adventure lives in her soul!

Jana Leigh Sheaffer is also an author, transformational speaker, pilot, and avid aviation enthusiast.

Active members of Life Center Ministries located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Jana Leigh and husband, Douglas, also operate Oil Lamp Ministries out of their home in Eastern Lancaster County. Oil Lamp Ministries hosts speakers from Dr. Randy Clark’s School of Supernatural Ministry and is affiliated with The Apostolic Network of Global Awakening (A.N.G.A.).

As of 2020, Douglas and Jana Leigh have been married for four years and have four children and six grandchildren. They enjoy flying their Aeronca Champ and playing music together.
